Curiousity [Koda x Aphrodite]

[Koda]

The dingy looking building that had once been a church sat just a few yards away from Koda. Exploring the territories of the Skeleton Pack was turning out to be more fun than he originally thought it would be. There was so much to see and not enough daylight but he was going to try his best. The sun was starting to set and it cast deep shades of orange and red across the sky, the warmth of the day still clingy to the warm cement pathway Koda's paws led him up.
Finally reaching the front door of the rundown building, he stopped and sniffed the air to see if anything was inside. When no unusual smells came to his nose he proceeded inside, light blue eyes adjusting quickly to the dim lighting inside. The pews where the humans use to sit were still all in their perfect rows, dust clung to evey surface and cobwebs seemed to be everywhere.
Koda crept silently down the main aisle, gazing up at the ceiling and then back behind him, getting a little creeped out. When he had first seen the building during the daytime it looked rather inviting and interesting but now that the sun was setting and he was in the dark gloom of the shadowy building, he was having other thoughts about just how welcoming the building actually was.
After a few more steps, he reached the stage and climbed the three stairs that raised it up above the rest of the level floors. Turning to look out over the open room, a small smile crossed the young pup's face as he pictured a bunch of dogs sitting below him, their eyes looking up at him for directions. He thought back to the pack meeting and couldn't help but wonder what it felt like to be an alpha. The sudden sound of a rat screeching and scurrying through the shadows made him jump and spin around to face the place the sound had come from, his fur on his shoulders raising in alarm.
Quickly calming down, he climbed back down the steps and headed out of the building but he didn't venture far from the structure, just instead sat down on the front steps, the fading sun shining on him and making him a dark silohette in the darkening colors of the setting sun.

Aphrodite let her paws carry her acrossed the pavement, walking slow and steady. Letting her mind roam and her paws carry her where they would, her thoughts hardly on what was right infront of her face. The slight scent of a male hit her nose, but she didnt let it break her train of throught she just kept walking, her brown and white fur stirred as a gentle breeze blew through the slow night fall. She let her mind come back as the scent got stronger, infront of her, but not facing her, was a young male. sitting erect on the steps of the church. she had come to a stop, a few yards to his side. Aphrodite rolled her eyes, great a young male, how annoying. she stifled a growl and continued on her way. "Wouldn't you care to move young brute. Let a lady guard through the door" she asked, her velvety voice holding a snap. She was in a b:tchy mood today. she remembered him from the pack meeting but didnt give him the time of day. Her eyes flashed, and the setting sun cast golden pink rays of light onto her white and brown fur. The collie was is no mood to deal with this little mut at this moment, she probably never would be. She let a little growl roll through her throught, aggravated. He wasn't truelly blocking the way, but she didnt want to be so near to him as to go in with him sitting there. Plus she wanted, no needed to be mean to somebody.

A slight breeze blew through his short blackish fur and it brought with it the scent of a female coming towards him. He turned to look at her as she came up the steps he was sitting on. His eyes widened a little as he saw her for she was quite beautiful. He of course was much to young for her and she didn't look like she was going to be too friendly but he was determined and wasn't going to give up without a fight. No doubt she had males chasing after her all the time and he figured doing the same thing would make her shut down and most likely get irritated with him."Wouldn't you care to move young brute. Let a lady guard through the door" When she spoke her voice had a sense of snappy authority to it and he smiled a little but let it slip away as he rose to his paws but stayed where he was.
Turning to face her, his light blue eyes glanced at the door and then back at her. Taking a tiny step away from the door, so small that he was pretty much in the same spot, he then sat down once more, grinning broadly up at her.
He thought twice about what he had just done because when she said lady guard he assumed she was a guard for the Skeleton Pack and he didn't want to be on anyone's bad side that was in the same pack as he was. Being as young as he was, he wouldn't be able to handle enemies very well. Especially enemies that knew how to kill like the Skeleton members.

Aphrodite looked at him, cocked an eye brow aned stared at him. Was he serious? As she looked at him he looked pretty cocky. /Hmmmm... Should we play miss b:tchy, or should we play it differently... I think differently sounds fun./ she mentally chuckled and let a coy smile play acrossed her lips. Oh how she loved to toy with their minds. Oh her way with words, it made her giddy inside. She was a little twisted but she ejoyed playing games. And she was always in charge. Her games, her rules. Aphrodite stepped forwards and was on the same step with him in one swift move, she held herself elegantly, but that coy smile stayed placed expertly upon her pretty little face. A soft light twinkling in those blue eyes. "Well now..." she practically purred, her voice seductive and velvety. "Your a little cocky, aren't you..." she said stepping even closer, she didnt touch him, but turned slowly towards the door her middle at his nose, but a few inches away. She smiled at him and started into the door. Only taking three steps, her fluffy tail flicking under his chin, she pulled the length of that fluffy white tail beneath his chin with a soft coy laugh. She trotted inside. "So sad, to bad" she said under her breath, barely audible, and ot loud enough to make out. She chuckled and continued on to the landing in the church.

Surprise filled the pup's light blue eyes as she leaned close to him, so close but yet not quite touching him. He raised his eyebrows, very much interested in the game she was playing. He was young. He didn't care if she was toying with him or not. Koda was a player and loved the game. The softness of her tail underneath his chin made him rise to his paws, his eyes following her as she strolled into the church, looking back at him for a moment.
Willingly, he followed her inside, staying a few paces behind her though, not sure what she was going to do next. But whatever it was he had a feeling she had done it on other males before. She was full of herself and had a right to be. Being as beautiful as she was tended to come with a large ego to match.
His eyes studied her for a moment longer. Finally remebering that she had spoken to him before entering the church, he decided he should probably say something back.
"What can I say, beautiful females do that to me." He answered flirtatiously, taking a couple of steps closer to her, a smile raising one side of his mouth as he watched her, taking her in.

Aphrodite chuckled, her laugh ringing all through the run down church. She looked back at the young male. He could be a dear pet, fun for her games, and her bidding. But could she get him that way? Or would he get on her nerves. She didnt even know herself. She knew she was pretty much unpredictable, even to herself. She was pretty moody. But she was having a little fun, still feeling rotten, but lightning up with her little games. The possibility of a little pet seemed to brighten her day.As he spoke she let her sparkling ice blue eyes linger on his, "Beautiful? humph!" she said sticking her nose in the air and turning back away from him, she flicked her tail under his chin once before stepping farther away, toying with him. "Flirty little lines won't get my attention babe" she said seductively as she turned back to face him, she let the word babe roll of her tongue as if she'd called him babe for ages. "I'm afraid I'm worth more then a few cheap lines" she purred, letting her body sway as she stepped closer to him, she could feel his bodys heat radiating off him, her seductive smile still played acrossed her lips.

A wider grin made it's way across Koda's face as he watched her walk a couple steps away but then turn around and come right back to him, so close now that her scent wafted into his nostrils and made him feel drunk on her aroma. Raising his chin a little after she spoke, he felt determined to get her attention. It was no surprise that she required more than his usual and simple lines to get her to notice him as more than just an annoying young pup. And if it was a game she wanted, it was a game she would get. "I'm afraid I'm worth more then a few cheap lines"
Grinning once more, he took a step towards her, filling the space between them even more than before. His light blue eyes looked her up and down once more before he smiled a half smile again.
"That you are." he replied, not adding any mushy cliche words that other males probably drowned her in. Instead he stopped with that, letting his simple reply hang in the air for a moment, the silence of the church hanging all around them.
The sun's light had completely vanished by now and the moon could be seen shining through the window of the church, faintly illuminating his own dark fur while his light blue eyes seemed to glow, mischief and interest apparent in them.

As he closed in the distance Aphrodite pressed her fur against his, her nose at his ear. Her breath hot on his ear for a second before she pulled back. Giving him the breifest of touches. She turned slightly and swayed a few steps away, before looking at him again, a coy little pout playing on her lips. "I'm sorry baby, but it takes alot more than words to get me hon. Alot more. I need things sweetness" she said, her velvety voice delicate.
She watched him, her eyes wide, somewhat innocent looking. "Darling, do you really, really want my attention? Truely want it?" she said watching him, her voice dripping seduction. She gave him a little coy smile. She was a high maintenence dog, and almost always got what she wanted. She practically lived to have her way, to bend others to do her bidding. She could make a great use of this little brute.

[Koda]

She pressed against him, he could feel the warmth of her body against his chest as she put her muzzle close to his ear before turning away and taking a few steps from him, widening the gap between them once more. Waiting, Koda listened to the rest of her words until she ended it all with a question. At first he thought it was a trick question, I mean what male dog wouldn't want her attention. He knew he definitely did.
"You bet." Was all he replied with, trailing off a bit at the end, waiting on the edge of his seat for what she would say next.
Once again he took a few more steps after her, watching her as she walked away and then turned back to face him. He had a strange feeling she was using him but hell he didn't really care. When he got bored he would stand up to her and call her out on the games she was playing with him. But he would only do that when he got tired of her games. And at the moment, it didn't look like that was gonna happen anytime soon. Escpecially the way she was playing 'em.
She definitely knew how to keep him guessing and the fact that he didn't know what she was thinking or what she was gonna do was starting to frustrate him. But that was the life of a male dog. Never knowing what a female was thinking or what she was going to do next. But hey, half the fun was not knowing.

Aphrodite smile, a big coy smile at him, coming forward. Her body swayed as she once again closed the distance between them. "really?" she purred in his ear. "It takes alot. can you handle it?" she asked softly. Coming close to him a smile playig on her lips. She was practically purring, she loved it when she got her way. She knew it wouldnt continue to long, but it would be fun while it lasted. Aphrodite swayed her body seductively as she walked in a circle around him her tail trailing along his body. She walked a single circle around him, and stopped once again directly infront of him before looking him directly in the eyes. "My dear, do you have what it takes to get, and possibly keep my attention?" she asked softly into his ear. She looked at him, her eyes sparkling with what almost seemed delight. But this was only a minor pleasure, he'd soon find out she wasn't all seductive and playful. she was high maintenence, and mean. Snappy and quick to change her mood.

Koda's light blue eyes followed her as she came closer to him once more, that smile that seemed to always be on her lips was making him crazy. He swallowed hard as he felt her tail trace it's way around his body. Remaining perfectly still, he waited until she came back to stand in front of him. "My dear, do you have what it takes to get, and possibly keep my attention?" Her words were like velvet, escaping her mouth in such a smooth and seductive manner that it made his temperature rise just by listening to her speak. He remained silent for a moment more, thinking about his next reply for a long while. Finally a determined and smug grin crossed his face and his lifted his chin up once more, taking another step towards her. His light blue eyes shone with mischief and determination as he gazed into her own eyes, raising his eyebrows playfully.
"I always have what it takes." He said back, plain and simple. No other words were needed for him to get his point across and his smirk remained plastered on his face for a long while, waiting for what she would either do or say next.

Aphrodite laughed, a sound like bells. She touched her nose to the corner of his lips slightly, smiling. "Good. Your gonna have to prove it, more then once I'm sure" she chuckled prancing away and around the rotting stand and down the steps, in one fluid jump she landed on the first pew, turning herself around she lay down on the fluffy cushion in the pew. She smiled at him. "I might ask you to do things for me. From time to time. I need your complete cooperation, and your utter determenation" she said smiling at him as she waited for him to come back closer to her, she knew he would. They always did, they couldn't stand to be away from her for very long. She had that affect when she worked her little games. Let them think they would get her, and have more of her and keep her. but they never did, she got all she could from them, and left them starring after her. But then again they were starring after her from the begining. She chuckled softly. And watched him through crisp blue eyes.

Koda's own light blue eyes watched her leap from the stage to the first pew and then she laid down. Her voice rang out through the trees, filling it with the sweet music of her tone. "I might ask you to do things for me. From time to time. I need your complete cooperation, and your utter determenation" Once she spoke those words he realized what kind of female she was. While some females would just drag the male around and when he started to feel like he wasn't getting anything from her she would give him a little taste and have him following her around like a little puppy once more. And lots of males were either okay with that or didn't even realize it was happening. Koda was still a pup though and wasn't interested in settling down and finding a mate to live the rest of his life with and have pups and blah blah blah. Sure that time might come for him eventually, but right now he was nowhere near it. This time, instead of following her around like her normal lovesick males would have done, he strolled casually down the main aisle and climbed up onto the stage, turning around so he was looking out over the pews. Sitting down on the old carpeted floor of the stage, his eyes glanced around the room, out the window, up at the ceiling, pretty much everywhere but at her. But eventually he brought his gaze to her once more, a smug look on his face once more as he eyed her.
"I'll see what I can do." He replied, before glancing away from her again, his eyes looking around the open room once more, as if he had almost forgotten she was there.

Aphrodite laughed. She knew he would come to this sooner or later, he didnt prove to be so dumb as even some grown males would be. She continued to laugh, she hadn't actually laughed in awhile and it felt nice right then, to actually think something was funny. She loved playing games, making brutes want her or hate her, even females she liked making them hate her especially. Aphrodit rolled onto her back for a moment looking to the roof. She was at a loss now. Should she keep up her little charade, and make him want to leave, or should she be somewhat nice, and enjoy some company for once, company that wasnt quite as drooly as some.
Aphrodite surprised herself by getting up and going up to the stand. she looked at him, and climbed the steps. "Look kid, I really don't want you to run off and do my bidding, though some meat now and then sure would be nice" she chuckled. giving him a very rarely seen genuine smile. "But you might be fun to toy with sometimes" her voice naturally velvety echoed with laughter she barely stifled. She pushed him with her paw and stood up, touching her tail to his chin. "Isn't it past your bedtime?" she laughed hopping down and going back to the pew she had chosen as her bed.

Koda watched her closely, a little surprised by her reaction to him not jumping up and down when she had told him that he would need to do things for her in order to keep her attention. He listened to her words thoughtfully, enjoying the sound of laughter in her voice almost as much as she seemed to enjoy laughing. When she jumped off of the pew she had been laying on and came up the stairs to him, he smiled. The push she gave him after that seemed to mean that she thought he was alright to have around more often than just this once and he would be glad to have the company of a beautiful female such as herself. The main thing that probably kept Koda was drooling all over her and losing his mind in desire of her was probably the fact that he was still just a young pup and knew pretty well that there wasn't much of a chance of the two of them ever being together as more than friends so he was willing to take her as his friend. After all, he was definitely going to need friends now that he was new to a pack. It wouldn't end well for him if everyone in the pack hated him.
The now somewhat familiar feeling of her tail under his chin made him smile once more and his light blue eyes watched her head back to the pew she had been laying on. "Isn't it past your bedtime?" Her comment made him chuckle a little and he forced his smile to slide off of his face and replaced it with a sad little puppy dog pout that he had mastered. Koda climbed down off of the stage and headed over to the pew she was laying on before sitting down in front of her, his sad and scared look still on his face as he glanced around pretending to be nervous and terrified.
"Yeah. . . I think so. . . But I'm afraid of the dark. Can I sleep with you?" He asked, still keeping up his charade. He laid his head down on the edge of the pew, right in front of her and looked up at her with his light blue eyes, waiting for her reply. What could he say? There were benefits to being only a pup. If a full grown male dog tried to pull that line over with her, he probably would have been called names and laughed at for years to come.
