Curiousity [Koda x Aphrodite]

Aphrodite laughed hard for a good few minutes. She took a few deep breaths and looked down at his face her eyes narrow. "I suppose kid, but I better not catch you trying to snuggle up ext to me, and im no babysitter pup. I'm a guard, and not your personal one either." she said laying down some lines, though a smile kept tugging at the corners of her lips.
she shook herself and began her nightly grooming, making sure no dirt clung to her fur, no cobwebs or anythig. Her fur was one of her main prioritys. "'Night Pup" she said smirking at him before she slowly curled up into a ball. Trying to let sleep consume her since it was now pitchblack outside. She sighed softly as she tucked her head under her paws and tried to relax and sleep. After awhile of being lost in her thoughts sleep finally came for her and wisked her away.

Satisfied with his slick move, Koda smiled at her reply before jumping up onto the pew next to her and laying down, his fur softly pressing against hers a little. His ears pricked when she laid down some rules and he raised his head to speak to her.
"I don't need a babysitter or a guard! I can take care of myself." He replied, a determined and proud look on his face as he spoke.
Finally he laid his head down on his paws, his eyes starting to droop a little. The sweet sound of her voice broke through the darkness of the church once more and he raised his head again as he listened. "'Night Pup"
"The name's Koda. Say it with me, Ko-da." He replied, explaining it to her and sounding it out like she was a mere newborn who couldn't speak. He laid his head down once more, resting his chin on his paws but eventually stretching himself out into a more comfortable position. Laying on his side, his hind legs streched out down the pew while his head was cuddled up against Aphrodite's shoulder, resting on her soft white fur. His large front paws hung off the side of the bench and a content sigh escaped the young pup's mouth as he closed his light blue eyes and felt himself slipping into sleep.

Aphrodite woke as the sun started to filter through the windows. She looked around her, to see Koda next to her, she shook her head and stood. leaping down from the pew she stretched herself out and sat down for her early mourning grooming. Once her pelt was in order again she touched Koda with her paw. "Time to get up kid." she said rolling her eyes. She was in somewhat of a better mood today, though her stomach rumbled for food. She was starving, maybe he could prove a useful companion, hunting sounded pretty good right then. She waited for him to register the fact that it was indeed mourning and time to get his lazy butt off the pew and get to work. She herself had few things to do today, wich she didnt mind in the least, but if he was going to hang out with her, he had to get up and do something. She herself only really planned on hunting and a quick border patrol before finding anything else to do.

Koda groaned as he felt a paw poke him. Squeezing his eyes shut he starte to growl and rolled over right off the edge of the pew, hitting the stone ground with a thump. Koda growled some more at his fall and slowly got to his paws, stretching his front legs out in front, his hind end sticking up in the air for a moment. He then raised his front half and stretched each of his back legs in turn. When he was more awake than before, he shook his dark coat, getting rid of all his sheddy fur and anything that might have stuck to his fur during the night.
Light blue eyes turned to look at the female he had slept with last night and a grin crossed his face as he winked at her.
"Good morning beautiful." He replied, taking a couple of steps closer to her.
The deep rumbling of his stomach reminded him that he needed to be fed and he knew that there should be no problem finding some food around the church. After all, prey ran the best in places that were overgrown and old. And this church was most definitely both of those things.
