she sighed and laid down, laying her head on her paws. "it's beautiful here. i can see why." she frowned," i don't know where else to look." she looked up at him, her yellow eyes apologetic. she wondered where the female would have gone. why leave this place? especially with pups. she looked around and took a deep breath. she jumped up, her eyes wide. a fresh scent! she nudged blackhawk. "smell that?!" a huge grin was plastered on her face. she waited for him to notice it. standing legs spread apart, ready to bolt when he figured it out.

blackhawk tried to sniff the air but his nose was filled with the scent of blood from the deer. "sorry, i cant smell anything but blood right now, lead the way" he stood up and waited to follow you, eager to see his mate again. he was getting worried about were she had gone and was hoping to find her soon. he was scared to their pups, they wouldn't even have time to live if she was hurt and this pack needed more pups.

she tugged on him, leading the way. she laughed slightly. she could still smell the blood on him. she let him go, running into the woods, letting the scent lead her. she also smelled flowers. was she in a field? she nodded to herself as she burst into a large field full of wild flowers and tall grass. she looked around. the scent was very strong here. she turned to make sure blackhawk was coming, a huge smile across her face. her yellow eyes lit up. the sun was rising and the colors seemed to make her pelt sparkle.
