CRUNCH! SNAP! AH SHIT!
dead leaves crackled under large paws and twigs snapped under the weight of the large dalmatian. curses came out in a smooth english accent. zane turned his head and looked for any dogs, anyone could hear his presence from a mile away." OUUF!" the sound escaped his maw as his body slammed into a gravestone. he growled and spat curses out of his chops as he picked himself up off the ground. "dumbass humans put these things everywhere." his big brown eyes were narrowed and a grimace was plastered to his maw.
carrying on, and hoping no one had seen that, he drew in a deep breath. his nostrils flaring as the scent of deer came his way. he crouched behind a gravestone, now grateful for its cover. he spotted the doe ahead, grazing cautiously. he was surprised it hadn't heard him before, running into gravestones and all. he crept forward, his ears perked for any other sounds. brown eyes intent on the doe. he stalked her, his belly barely above the earth, his tail drawn to his side. he stopped as he got closer, the doe looked up, it's ears twitching. it took a step, no.. stay. it stopped. phew. when it began grazing again he smirked and bounded over the gravestone that was blocking him from the deer. his claws dug into it's shoulders as he bit hard on it's neck several times, severing the windpipe. it let out a noise then was silent as it slumped to the ground.
zane smiled widely, the doe was large, pregnant perhaps. it seemed rather plump. he took the dead animal in his jaws and began dragging it to a tree, wedging it in between two low branches. he would eat it later, he wasn't that hungry at the moment. crunch! his ears perked as he heard the sound of a leaf crunch under someone's paws. he whipped around, too late, realizing how close he was to a gravestone. CRACK! he slammed into it, his head and shoulder taking most of the collision. he snarled," GOD DAMMIT! i hate these things!" the other dog would be well aware of his presence now. he shook his head, clearing it, realizing what an idiot he looked like right now. brown eyes searched for the other dog, female definitely. she seemed to have skeleton pack scent too. what a wonderful thing to do in front of your new pack mates. he rolled his eyes.
