Rabbit. Hare. Bunny. Lunch. Whatever you call it Aquila had her mind on only one thing. There it sat, little nose twitching as it nibbled the soft grass. It didn't know. Or did it? Only sitting there pretending not to know death was looming, hoping it to leave. Aquila herself sat perfectly still, eyes sharp and locked onto what was hopefully going to be her next meal. She crouched in the tall grass close to the rabbit, not much of a meal but something.
The rabbit dipped it's head for more grass and Aquila lunged. The rabbit saw it coming, it sprang away, but Aquila was in hot pursuit. Her legs running in tune with the rest of her body, the rabbit ran for its life, she ran for her lunch. Dodging trees, leaping gracefully over logs and around shrubs. Mind only on hunting.
The next turn she released a burst of energy she had left and in a blind flash all was done. Her hunting mode, so to speak, wore off and she was happy for her catch. Though along with this came a slow realization of her surroundings.
Was this an over grown field she stood in? Yes, and hadn't she lept a broken down fence in the chase? It was, she knew were she was. She was in the territory of one of the packs which she tried so dutifully to avoid. And in this one mad chase for food she passed the sent marker, and with a slight quiver of her lip she realized she was in way to deep.

Taboo was lying in the sun. She had just caught and eaten a squirrel, a lucky catch for any dog. Those little buggers were as fast as lightning. She smiled at the thought of catching lightning. She heard a rustling, and scented a rabbit moving quickly towards her. She stood and her hackles raised, ready to pounce out of the bushes. She wasn't aiming for the rabbit, she had already eaten. The thing she was ready to tackle was another dog that she could scent under the rabbit. She crouched, every muscle tensed and poised. The dogs scent was definitely not from the pack. As soon as she saw a large form enter the clearing after the rabbit, she leaped out, barreling into the dogs side. Her intentions weren't to start a fight without speaking first, but she had to stop the speeding invader. Of course, she wasn't unwilling to fight. Slamming into the large dogs ribcage, she knocked it over onto the grass and stood in front of it, hackles still up. "What are you doing on Rigormortis territory, fae? These aren't open hunting grounds." The Siberian Husky snarled. She wouldn't let an intruder get away with anything, especially hunting on their grounds.

Aquila was hit hard on the side, she fell over and the rabbit was knocked out of her mouth, as quick as she could she whipped back around to face her attacker. She growled with her dark fur bristling at the other dog but made no move for an attack. Attacking a pack dog on pack territory, not smart, unless you want death. Though she wasn't afraid to defend herself, if this dog thought she would slink off the territory when they came around, she had another thing comin. "This chase started out not in your territory." Her eyes were locked onto the husky, and her lip curled back in a snarl. Her honey brown eyes loked from her to the rabbit."And if you don't mind I want my kill back." she continued fiercely, and she made a move to get her rabbit.

Taboo snarled fiercely as the dog claimed the chase started off of the pack territory. "Well the rabbit entered our home before you caught it." She shot back. The intruder made a move to grab the rabbit and Taboo jumped in front of it. "You have no claim of this rabbit. It is Rigormortis prey." The dog made another attempt to grab the prize and the infuriated husky lunged to stop the dog. Her teeth met the dogs shoulder and pierced the skin. The taste of salty blood dripped into her mouth, though the cut was small. The dogs backed off for a second and Taboos blue eyes looked like burning ice. Her lips were pulled back in a growl. "You better get off of our territory or I will have to take you to Duke, and trust me, you wouldn't want that." She barked in anger. Her muzzle parted in a howl to call any other Rigormortis dogs in the area. She didn't need back-up, so if none heard her she would be fine, but it would be easier with more dogs. Taboo stepped in front of the rabbit carcass, ready to return to a fight.

Aquila snapped as teeth met her brawny shoulder. She fell away growling and barring her white teeth. Now she was mad. She hadn't really trusted pack dogs since her mother was killed, this certainly didn't help.
No one was going to take her food. She caught it fair and square, pack territory or not. Her muscles tensed as the dog wouldn't let her by yet again. "That. Is. Mine. I caught it, and won't leave with out it." She didn't care about being brought to Duke, who ever that was. It wasn't just about the prey, Aquila saw it as an insult, a challenge, and she wouldn't shirk away, she was no wimp.
Aquila had enough, fighting wasn't first on the list, but it was definitely on the list. She feared no fight, but wouldn't be the first to lunge. She would let her opponent strike the first blow, other than the one on her shoulder. She snapped as a warning, hunched down ready to dodge and attack.

((Agreed. That will save some time. I don't have time to post now, maybe you should intervene right before they fight?))

Duke
The secret side of me, I never let you see, I keep it caged but I can't control it. So stay away from me, the beast is ugly, I feel the rage and I just can't hold it...
.xXx. There was something so entirely intriguing, about the sound of a snarl. The Doberman figured it was because of his past; the familiarity with such noises, which triggered interest within him. The brutal aggressiveness within the depths of a snarl was simply... beautiful, in Duke’s eyes. However, the snarl wasn’t the whole reason Duke was so consumed with interest, on this fine day. No, it was the fact the snarls he heard from near the boarders were, indeed, coming from females. It was one thing coming from a male; that would initiate a fight. But females... Duke didn’t have experience with seeing them fight. So, as the Doberman trotted brusquely towards the scent and sound of the dogs, he was sure to keep silent. He would approach discreetly, and watch. Then, the brute would intervene when he saw fit. That is, if everything worked out as planned.
Duke took quick and practised steps, his legs propelling him forwards with a confidence unseen in many dogs, normally. His head fell low to align with his shoulders, as the canine approached. It was as Duke rounded a smaller hill, that his deep, unfeeling, eyes caught sight of the two females. His ears swivelled forwards easily, as the brute stayed standing a fair ways away from the two. It was then, that Duke picked up on their conversation, and came to the easy conclusion they were fighting over a rabbit. Oh, how lovely. The Doberman smirked briefly, before wiping the expression off of his features almost instantly. It was time to make an appearance.
“Now, now, ladies. There’s no reason to become violent over something as simple as a rabbit.”
He spoke slowly, his voice deep and masculine, as well as amused, to a slight degree. The Doberman walked forwards, raising his head to restore himself to his full height, as he did so. He intended to stop this little quarrel in its tracks, before it could turn into anything worse. For, Duke didn’t need any wounded members. And to be honest, this little female could be of use to him. Maybe she ought to join? A low chuckle slipped from between Duke’s parted lips, before he looked towards the femme trespasser. His eyes ran over her frame quickly, as a small smile settled across his maw.
“Speak of the devil, and he shall arrive, I suppose.”
Duke spoke once more, his smile growing, as he glanced towards Taboo. This, of course, was referencing to the fact taboo had threatened to take this female to the alpha. And, would you look at that—the alpha was here. Although, Duke thought he might as well explain himself. Confusion was downright unneeded, at this time.
“I’m Duke, the alpha of these lands. And that-“
He said, motioning towards the rabbit.
“Is, indeed, my rabbit. However,I’m sure I’d be willing to share, depending on the circumstances.”
The Doberman said finally, reclining back onto his haunches, as if relaxed. He was quite calm to be honest, but he intended to project that to the two, in hopes to get them to calm down. Fighting only excited the Doberman, and he didn’t want to get consumed in by his instincts, and do something he would regret. Slowly, Duke surveyed the two once more, careful to have positioned himself in a spot where he could leap between them, if need be. It was only then, that Duke’s small little smirk drained back onto his features.
“So, why don’t you two explain yourselves, hmm? Enlighten me.”
Duke spoke calmly again, however there was a demanding and forceful tone, lurking within the depths of his voice. Why? Because Duke may have seemed like it didn’t matter, this was true. But really...
The Doberman didn’t want to have to deal with dumb shit, like fighting over food.
I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin, I must confess that I feel like a monster. I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun, I must confess that I feel like a monster...

Taboo turned to Duke as soon as he came into view, though she still kept an eye on the intruder. She dipped he head quickly in recognition of the alpha. As the big doberman spoke, she could sense a bit of amusement in his voice. She sat down, hackles still raised, turned her icy gaze from the female to the alpha. her mouth opened to explain the fight. "She caught this rabbit on our land, but the prey wasn't really my reason for fighting. I was mostly offended by her disregard for boundaries. I would have only actually fought if I had to," She offered. "Just defending our territory."' Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the female slightly move and her muzzle shot back to her, teeth bared and gleaming in the sun. A deep threatening growl warned the dog not to try anything, and she turned again to Duke. "I don't know her explanation for this, but mine is simple." She was a bit more relaxed, but the fur on the back of her neck was still raised and her eyes kept checking on the intruder. The husky's ears swiveled, and she waited for the others to speak.
