A ripple flowed down the fae's side. I knew my time had come for my pups to come. Instinct comes in handy sometimes. I went to the edge of the lake and dropped my head to lick up the cool water. Feeling it soothe my dry throat. I lifted up my head as I finished drinking. Time to go get comfortable. Its going to be a long day, I told myself. I turned away from the lake ignoring the angry ducks and began to pad away. Finding a nice cool spot beside a oak tree, I turned around to get myself comfortable. Contracts were already beginning. I hope Archeron comes. I need him.

The heat was constant upon my shoulders but now the gentle breeze from the lake replaced that. It had been a while since I had been back here, where I had met my queen and my mate, Wolf. She was my life, my heart, my soul. I loved her. And now she was pregnant with my, no our pups. The thought that we had been so lucky was absolutely amazing. These pups would become a part of my life, a part of me. They would be our heirs and take our place as Lupa and Ulfric of the Vexis pack when our time had come. everyday I prayed that my dear wolf would not become infected and so far my prayers had payed off. She was as healthy as ever. As I marched along, the wind blew a tender and familiar scent to my nose. It was the scent of my mate. I smiled a wolfey smile and ran to my mate with wild passion. I was eager to be by her side again. When I reached her, I was confused to find her collapsed onto her side. i was frantic for a moment before finally realizing what was happening. "The pups!"

[/i] I cried out not knowing what else to say. I nuzzled my mate affectionately, licking her muzzle. "Oh my Wolf....what can I do? Please let me help you.[/i] I practically begged. There had to be some way to help her. [/color]

Almost dizzily I began to doze to pass the time away. It wasn't long before something caused me to stir. I lifted my head as my mates scent tickled my nose. I sighed happily as he came into view. "The pups!" he said as the confusion left his features. It brought a smile to my tired face. I flicked an ear as another contraction rippled down my side causing me to wince in pain. "Thank the stars you came," I huffed after the contraction left. I leaned toward him and gave him a lick on his nose. "Oh my Wolf....what can I do? Please let me help you," came his desperate voice. "Not much you can do except to stay here with me while I have these pups," I told him softly. My face got serious, "You won't leave me will you?" I asked before another painful contraction. It was time to push. I waited till another contraction came before I pushed. I closed my eyes as I pushed. It wasn't long before the first pup joined the outside world. She was a gorgeous girl white body with a brown back marking and a black mask. Amira, I told myself as I cleaned her up. "I think I have one more pup," I panted. I was getting tired. I was so ready to get this last pup out so that I could get rid of all this pain. It felt like someone was ripping my body from the inside out.

I knew that the pain was unbearable and all I could do was sit and wait. It drove me mad. I wished he could take her pain from her. "You won't leave me will you?"

As out first pup came into the world, I gasped. She was so beautiful. I nuzzled and licked my little daughter tenderly. As Wolf told me there was another, I almost held my breath. "You mustn't give up."[/i] I said, nuzzling her side, trying to help if I could.[/color]

You mustn't give up, he said, nuzzling my side, trying to help if he could. I sighed softly wagging my tail before another convulsion took my body captive. I pushed and pushed. The last pup slid out. I turned and began to lick her thin body. Her color was a light creamy brown with white bottom markings. "Meet your two daughters, Amira and her sister, what do you want to name her Archeron?" I said softly as I gently pushed the pups to my teats where the milk was. After they started suckling I lifted up my face and looked lovingly into Archeron's getting strength from his lovely gaze. I inhaled deeply, his scent flew into my nose. I loved his scent. Maybe it was because I knew he was my mate. Maybe it happens when you find your forever mate and together you court and bring life into the world. However cold the world might be. Motherhood and fatherhood wasn't hard to come by. However, only the great skills of parents these days would ensure their pups would survive. I pressed my muzzle into his russet colored fur. Nothing in the world would take away my feelings for my mate. I didn't have any plans to leave him or our pack either. Not when they needed both of us. I drew back my head and looked at his face again. "Look at the beautiful cubs we made. They are the feature of the pack. I hope they give the pack some hope and enjoyable moments. Pups are known for that," I said giving him a lick on his cheek. Sorry it took me so long to post. I had somethings come up that needed to be done before the internet
