The Plague Dogs role play is extremely loosely based on 'The Plague Dogs' novel written by Richard Adams in 1977. Although it is not in any way necessary to know this book to participate in this role play, I will always recommend it because it's such a wonderful novel and would give you a pretty good idea of how this role play came into existence.
