Trueno wasn't like that, even at the age of eight. But, now that this new land had been found, it was like he found heaven. Packs did not rule here, and tall, two-legged creatures roam around eating those who lost in a fight against them. He dared not challenge them. Yet he was waiting to challenge the rulers of his home, the pack leaders. Here he had to find someone who was up to a challenge, explore his world, become a champion. Of course the champion part only came if they won, and there were four packs. He may never live to see a land of peace, but if he could just start it... All around him, small buildings lined the street. Each of them like small nests that seemed quite comfortable, unlike ones he had seen before that were torn apart and blood-stained. Here it just seemed... dead in the most literal sense possible. One building struck his fancy, for it was biggger and looked more sophisticated than the rest in structure. What a wonderful place to start my search! He smiled to himself and ran to the door, nosing it open. Inside was like any other old building, dusty and slightly torn up, but it was elegant. A large staircase was in front of him, and he sat on it. One was most likely going to run into him if this was the center of the building. Table (c) Syco

Zodiac lay against the cool marble floor with her long elegant legs curled beneath her. Fluffy ears rolled down each side of her slender head to pool on the luminescent floor, bushy tail wagging slowly. She could see the entryway from here….having settled herself at the very top of the staircase that emerged right at the entrance. So far however her precautions have been in vain and no one had wandered inside her new digs. However that was quick to change. Amber eyes narrowed as a dark nose appeared in the doorway, the loud creaking of the door signaling to her that he was trying to get inside. Being half saluki as she was Zodiac was able to slip through the small crack without so much as brushing a hair out of place. This brute however was much bulkier than the slender fae. Plastered against the floor as she was it would be nearly impossible to see her lingering at the top of the staircase, and it seemed that she was able to avoid the beast’s gaze. He checked the place out a little before settling himself right at the foot of the stairs…blocking her exit.

Well damn it….

Her fluffy ears pressed back against her elegant skull at the thought of being trapped. Quickly she cast a glance over each shoulder but was only met with a multitude of closed doors…no hallways that might lead to an escape…..she could always wait it out up here….he had to leave eventually right?…..Or maybe say hello?….bah….

With a sigh the vixen rose to her ivory paws, stretching much in the fashion of a house cat before she began her decent…once marble stair at a time. With each step her claws clicked like a woman’s heels, she stopped about ten steps away from the larger brute eyeing him warily.

”Is there a reason you have trespassed into my home?”

She ask with a flick of her ivory tail. She was trying to look tough but was failing miserably.
