Just another fallen star____________________________________________________ Evening was falling quickly over the lupin meadows. The sun hit the horizon and sent fingers of gold to turn the field to brilliance. The heat of the day was fading and the cool breezes of the evening cooled the earth as if to herald the coming of night. A herd of deer grazed at the far side of the field not at all concerned with the coming evening. Birds sang their last songs of farewell to the fading light. On the horizon hung thick gray clouds that whispered to the keen of smell that a small storm might roll through. Sirius sat at the opposite end of the field of the deer. He licked his lips and shook his scarred head. The massive white wolf was in the mood to run but not in the mood to get close enough to chase the deer off. So he sat with his head turned just slightly to the right to compensate for the blindness on his right eye. He was new here and most of the wolves had hardly spoken two words to him. Then again he wasn't exactly the approachable appearing wolf. The right side of his face was heavily scarred leaving him half blind and with a slight split in his lip. His body was scared as well making him appear quite the grizzly character. Another huff was given as he stretched a hind leg up to scratch his ear. Really being in the pack wasn't much different then living alone. It just meant he got more meals of bigger game. It all seemed about the same. His ears perked as he dropped his leg and scented the air a moment. He thought he had smelled another wolf, for just a brief second he could have sworn. He swung his head around in a huge slow arc, having use of only one eye did limit his field of vision so he had to be more active about his scouting. With a shrug he let his ears flick too and fro but he returned to lazily watching the deer graze and pondering about anything that happened to come to his mind.

The Thoughts ; ; The Speech ; ; The Response(s)
Blood, blood, blood, and more blood. What is more delightful then blood? Not many would have the answer for that… Well, maybe because they would think Delirium was crazy, like her name suggests, for asking such an odd questions. Day by day, I’m growing stronger from this thirst. I’m living longer behind these eyes. Crimson thoughts, you won’t survive it through the night. The song was sang in the mind of the grey wolf, as she calmly walked through the plains, her steps easy, and light. Thirsting for blood I pierce your neck with my teeth, as you begin to drive a stake through my chest. And watch me fade into the… Her bright, luminescent yellow eyes stared out of her gray facade, light undertones of violet shone through the gray that made up her coat, causing the rare coloration to shine. It was an attention grabber, that was for sure. Each paw hit the ground, nails digging into the soil, like a cat tenderizing it's sleeping nest. As night falls it comes with one desire. So here I am, I feel it deep inside. It cries to me like fire in your eyes. And burns for you I grasp it with both hands. I am so helpless to the call. The young fae's attention spun away, as a rabbit hurried past her, and her eyes stalked it, even as her body refused to follow what could easily have been prey. She had no plans for such weak prey... it's more fun... when they fight back.
Why she was here, where she was going, what her plans would be when she arrived at her unknown destination.... These were all unanswered questions, that in all honestly, the little grey would didn't care about. She knew most of the reaper pack land anyways. It wasn’t like any of it would be unfamiliar land. But, still, she let her feet lead her where they would. Where's the fun in planning something out. Her yellow eyes gleamed in dark amusement as she pawed her way around the prairie lands. It was with that darkness in her gaze that kept many others at bay. But what do you expect, from the pup of serial killers.
The grey wolfessa spun in a slow circle, her steps light and airy, before she bounded across the lands, the violet in her gray coat magnifying slightly as the sun caught certain threads. She large, but nimble form moved with ease, excess amount of energy oozed off her, as she played a deadly game of cat and mouse, with shadows, wishing it was flesh that she could grab hold of, when she launched at a shadow. To feel the flesh tear beneath her paws and nails. To bite into the prey, hearing the screams, as she devours the poor soul, while they are still alive. It was an easy thing to do, eat while the victim is alive. As long as you know how to do it right. Thirsting for, thirsting for your blood. I pierce your neck with my teeth, as you begin to drive a stake into my chest and watch as I fade into the...
She let out a soft laugh, as she launched at a shadow, only to feel said fur beneath her paws. The young fox let out a yip, as she dug her nails into the babe's back, before forcing it onto it's back, and swiping her now bloodied claws along it's belly, ignoring the cries and screams that came from the baby, as she bit into it's belly, tearing through muscle and fat, avoiding the bones and fur like second nature, all the while, her prey screamed and screamed as she fed upon it. The whimpering died down, as her feasting slowed, till she stepped away from the wild eyed baby, as it lay weak upon the ground, it's eyes blinking, it's chest heaving rabidly, and a large whole, and torn muscle and skin on it's undercarriage... An evil smirk came upon the fae's facade, as she stared down at the prey, before ripping the whole larger with her teeth, as the babe screamed once more. Left bleeding, and dying, and already half feasted upon, the wolf turned away from the fox, and wiped her muzzle along some nearby grass, cleaning herself off, till not a trace of blood was left upon her muzzle.
It was as she was walking away from the scene of her crime that she caught scent of the smell, clearly masculine in scent. Another unfamiliar male in the land? What was with Liri and finding these guys? Curiosity enticed, the grey wolf moved into action, heading towards the direction in which the howl had come from. The wolf kept instinctively down wind, creeping along with barely a sound made. She moved with ease, and lightness, as her coat dulled to a simple gray from the shadows she walked in.
It was then that she saw him, the large brute that had been the source of the scent, and she stopped, clearly amused as she gazed upon his uniquely colored hide, while she remained hidden for the moment. She was still a ways away, down wind, and with her silent approach, it was no wonder, she allowed a moment to gaze at his coloring, taking in the scars and white coat. Hmmm, wonder what his story was? The wolfess stepped into the light, her gray coat immediantly taking on a twinge of violet hues as she walked forward, her yellow eyes focused on the wolf with cruel, dark amusement, as she walked in a half circle, to end up in front of him, her eyes focused souly on him. "Hmm, and just whom might you be, darlin'. I though I was the only wolf out and about in this area. You don’t look familiar, so just whom might you be?" Her tones were a pure, they weren't a seductive trill. They were her natural, softly spoken, cool tones, that licked with the malicious undertones that she lived her life by. "Delirium, at your service." She introduced herself, an amused smirk falling upon her muzzle, at her name. Liri raised an eyebrow, as she waited for him to speak, Tonight I will feast on your flesh.

[/i] The last line of her song... How amusing, that it ended upon such a line, and while she had found herself in front of this male... Looks like she found her unknown destination... but, the question remains... What now? Just another fallen star____________________________________________________ Sirius didn't realize the cold murder that had occurred in the distance. It was downwind of him and as such the currents took the sound away from him. Even so the wolf wouldn't have cared. It was the way the world work, you killed or you were killed, simple as that. If you thought the world any other way you would end up on the later end of the scale. How one chose to kill was their problem not his. Personally he didn't like his prey squirming when he ate it, he liked it still as, well death. So when he hunted alone he simply snapped its neck or bit the life out of it. Why bother eating something that may, depending on it's size, kick you senseless. His ears hadn't deceived him however to his earlier suspicions. When the female appeared his eyes narrowed. No other sign was given he had seen her presence other then the small shift in his gaze. His face remained neutral and his body relaxed. He took in her appearance, slightly taken back by the odd color of her own fur. She was small, then again most wolves were small to Sirius, and lean. He scented the air now she was close enough to take it in and logged the smell for memory. Something about the female made him uncomfortable. It wasn't the fact she had snuck up on him, she had been down wind and that was a logical failing for any canine. His senses had been strong enough to pick up that something was amiss so he patted himself on the back for observation. Still he didn't show these observations and nodded a greeting to the female respectfully. Honestly he had been enjoying the silence but who was he to judge. Perhaps it was time to get used to company again. Then she began speaking. He took a moment to wrap his mind around her speech patterns. They were odd, and circular. She spoke in a voice that wasn't unpleasant and she gave her name first. It put him more at ease but there was something in her voice that told him to watch this one. So with a swing of his head he turned so his good eye could follow her as she circled. Then, when she was still he kept it fixed on her. It was clear, from the cloudy appearance of his right eye, his left one was the only one that could see. That sharp green was piercing as he was focused and clearly thinking. Still he was confident in himself and saw no reason to be bristling at other wolves on pack grounds. So he kept his body relaxed. She clearly knew her way around otherwise she wouldn't have caught him so unaware, wolves who didn't know the terrain made mistakes, small ones but enough to pick up on. Once final time he dipped his thick muzzle, the fangs that jutted just slightly past his upper lip were visible at this distance and his hulking size was clearly not normal. ”Sirius. Pleasure to meet you.” His voice matched his appearance, it was a low baritone with a rich smooth quality. It fit the brute but it seemed to calm and at ease for his gnarled appearance. Still there was fire behind his good eye, something dangerous that lurked somewhere under the surface that could be provoked if one did enough digging. He glanced off the female and down to the deer again, who now were casting nervous glances in their direction and ambling into the woods at the far end of the field. Well that ended that amusement. He stood and stretched out before returning to his previous recline, ”You haven't seen me around because I am new to the lands. I only came to the pack a few days ago. How about yourself then?” He cocked a brow in thought before adding, ”I hope you weren't watching me long. That would be quite the embarrassment wouldn't it. New to the pack and proving I have no sense in my skull.” He knew it wasn't possible she had been there very long. He hadn't been out here too long himself. Besides he wondered if she would admit to anything. One ear turned, but his eyes remained on her, as a bird was spooked from a patch of taller grass and shot up into the sky in a wild blur of feathers. His head turned for a brief moment to the right so he could watch its progress giving her a good view of the grizzly scars that raked down his face. Soon enough his attention was back and he fixated her with that one blazing eye, ”How long have you been in the pack?”(thats a bit better they should get better and better as I fall back into sirius as a character. Almost 800 words.)

She had moved with ease, as moved along the lands to the area, though she moved with ease, she entered the area the male was. She tilted her head, cool yellow eyes focused on him, as his own pair of orbs narrowed at her. It was the only hint to him being aware of her. The slight shift of his gaze, as he remained neutral and relaxed, taking her in. She moved towards him, as she walked towards him, speaking purposely, the way she spoke to confuse her prey before she went into for the kill, not that he’d be pray, mind you. He nodded a greeting to her, respectful, and instantly a small shift appeared in the femme as she dipped her tiara in a slight bow, herself. You treat her with respect, she would turn the same thing back to you. She might be a killer, she might be demonic, but she was also more then ready to be a member of the pack, and be polite to those she would run with during hunts. He gave a name, his tone low but with a rich quality to it. Fitting. She grinned, “Pleasure to meet you as well, Sirius.” She said as she followed his gaze to the deer, who had then decided to run off, and grinned slightly. You haven’t seen me around because I am new to the lands. I only came to the pack a few days ago. How about yourself then? I hope you weren’t watching me long. That would be quite the embarrassment wouldn’t it. New to the pack and proving I have no sense in my skull.
That produced a grin, as she nodded to him, “Was watching for long, at all. I only stalk prey, and wolves aren’t prey.” Only someone talented in double speak would understand the words hidden, that other dogs and canines could be prey. “New, eh? Well, welcome to the pack then, Sirius.” She said with a smirk, though it was more playful then rude... She glanced at him, as he turned towards the sound of a bird taking off, her attention fell onto the scars covering him, and she forced herself not to ask about them, before he spoke again, focusing a good eye – she was suspecting something was wrong with the other, “How long? I don’t know. A while now. But I don’t usually see other pack members unless I run across them while hunting, or exploring, or during pack meetings. Suppose I’m just not that social. Not that I mind, of course. It’s kinda nice to be off and alone, you know?”
Her eyes fell onto his scars again, and she finally asked him about them, “Curiosity professes me to question, but; might I know how you came to having so many scars, Sirius?” She asked, before falling silent, lowering her haunches so she could sit, her fur laying flat and sleek as her gold eyes focused on him.

Just another fallen star____________________________________________________ Sirius watched her return the nod and he fell to his ease. For now her body language showed no sign of aggression. His tail flicked around his side and he let his legs kick out to one side. He really wasn't used to the area like she was. He was feeling lazy so when she spoke on stalking he cocked his head. Oh he heard the word. Wolves. It meant anything else was food. He understood as such and let it pass. He wasn't one for eating fellow canines but he was not above killing them if they rubbed him the wrong way. He tipped his head peering at her, ”Good to know I am not in the list of edible things. You will find I am not one to go down without a fight. I'm not exactly a rabbit after all.” A friendly smirk passed across his muzzle mirroring her for a moment before his ears flickered slowly and he dipped his head low in thanks, ”My thanks for your warm welcome.” He lifted his head listening to her response with a cock of his head. He was not too bothered by the small females presence. She had something dangerous about her but then again he realized unless she was a bit different the likely hood she would approach him without any sign of nerves. ”I usually don't seek out others unless I have a reason, war, hunting, meetings. I just don't see a reason to have so many voices clouding your senses. Far harder to think that way.” He shrugged his shoulders and licked his lips lazily. However his expression turned from a smug smirk to steely in a wild flash. His good eye hit her and narrowed slightly. Then his lips twitched to resist snarling, ”If you know whats good for you you won't ask that again. It's not something I choose to talk about.” He snapped showing a hint of fang before dropping the subject cold. He stood and stretched peering over the field. ”I'm hungry.”As if that excused him he started to stalk slowly across the meadow his head low and his tail out with a determined raise of his scruff. It was bad memories for the wolf. The whole situation that lead up to his injury. He didn't have a home outside of this because of that damn able halfbreed. It was the reason he wasn't anywhere near his old home.

She returned the nod, and it was almost instantaneous, the way the male seemed to fall into ease, relaxing the moment he no longer picked up on any aggression from her. He cocked his head to the side as she spoke, and she smirked as she caught the subtle understanding of her comment regarding wolves. Good to know I am not in the list of edible things. You will find I am not one to go down without a fight. I’m not exactly a rabbit after all. She laughed, tilting her head, regarding him, smirking ever so slightly, Really? I wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t said anything.” Her tones were clearly playful, as she watching him dip his head low in thank, My thanks for your warm welcome. She shrugged, grinning despite herself, “No problem, none at all, Sirius.” He almost seemed the peculiar type of wolf, though amusing despite that small fact.
He was soon speaking again, I usually don’t seek out others unless I have a reason, war, hunting, meetings. He continued, and she nodded in agreement, “I hear ya, I hate having others near… I’d much rather be off on my own any day. The only reason I stick with a pack, is because it’s easier to make sure you’re always protected that way…. Doesn’t mean I actually have to deal with any of my pack mates, right? No thank you.” Of course, the moment she asked about his scars, his manner changed instantly, causing her hackles to rise, eyes to narrow in response of his, instantly on the defense, as she watched him, If you know what’s good for you, you won’t ask that again. It’s not something I choose to talk about. Her ears fell in shock, as her stances changed from aggressively defensive to surprised, staring at him as he snapped, before standing and declaring himself hungry and stalking off. She watched him for a moment, before her eyes narrowed, and she began to follow him.
Liri glared as she ran to catch up, her expression void of anything, as she said dryly, “What ever. Forget I asked, damn it… But don’t fucking walk away. I’ll help you hunt.” It wasn’t meant to be a ‘you’ll need help.’ But rather a, I’m still curious, and am determined to get to the bottom of this, sort of thing. Her expression was void of emotion, as she stumbled, and for a moment, an old limp came back as she winced, before quickly disguising it once again. He wasn’t the only who’d had issues outside this herd… and little did she know, she wasn’t the only one whose issues came from a half breed.
