"I drown out all my sense with the sound of its beathing.."
The day was almost over, and the shimmer in Shimmer Flats was dulling quite nicely. Tegan loved it here at dusk. It was cool out, the summer nights wind blew freely across the flats. Sure it was dry, boring, and lifeless. But it was peaceful, and thats what Tegan was looking for. Her mind was troubled. She couldn't stop thinking about the past. And she didn't want to. Thoughts just ran wildly through her head. She had no control over them. She was remembering...Elora
"T, come on! Get up!" The white dog laughed softly. "Sleepy head" Tegan smiled at her. Love in her eyes. The white dog stepped away. "Lets go already! We don't have all day babe" Tegan got up and followed her. She started to run, and Tegan chased. "Elora, wait up!" Tegan called after her, She was fast. Tegan could see her gorgeous white figure slipping away through the trees. She picked up speed. "Elo-"
"OUCH!" she snapped back to reality. She had stepped on something sharp, a bone or something. It cut her paw, and as she raised it to her mouth, a small drop of blood slid off and splashed silently onto the ground. She sad down and let out a little whine. She hopped no one was around to see that. That would be embarrassing.

So don't be scared, Though yesterday no one cared. They're getting your place prepared, Where you want to be. Yogi's sandy colored paws treaded lightly over the hardened earth that covered the "Devil's Throat". The Shimmering Flats. This was usually the place this particular canine avoided for it would always reflect the bright rays of the sun and nearly blind the poor fae. But, at this time of day she had had noticed that the blinding light had faded, allowing her to enter this territory she had never before had the opportunity to explore.
She could feel the slight brushing as her tail wagged softly, barely touching the back of her legs as she walked. Her legs ached from always walking, she felt as though she could have walked around the world from how much traveling she did from place to place. Her soft paws touched lightly upon the surface, bringing up slight puffs of dust as she padded up to a figure in the distance. It was another canine, that much was for certain, but as to who it was the question remained unanswered. Yogi treaded up to this stranger with a large grin plastered across her face as to show she was friendly. Her fur allowed her to blend in while she was a ways off but at a close range she was completely visible.
"Ouch!"
[/i] she heard the other canine say while she was still at a distance from the other. This small outburst caused Yogi to duck in cover in a slight burst of fear. She leapt to the ground and covered her head as a simple type of instinct that had been drilled into her head from the time her brother was still around. Lifting her paws from her face she looked over at the other canine and said in what was not her usual, kind, outgoing voice, but in a timid sounding tone, "Hi there."[/blockquote][/blockquote] Keep your dream alive, Dreaming is still how the strong survive, Once upon a time in the city.
