A young wolf/husky pup strolled across the old wooden docks where the humans use to come. Boats were still tied to the wooden posts and the water washed against the poles of the docks that went down into the water. Tall dark ears pricked forward as the little pup listened for the sound or scents to indicate that there was another dog here. He was new to the Skeleton Pack and was really hoping to get to meet all of the other pack members. Plus, he wanted to talk to Dangle because when he joined the pack, he dreamed of being trained to fight by Dangle himself! I mean, what could be better than being taught by the alpha male of the Skeleton pack!? Nothing! That's what. A smile crossed the puppy's face as he continued down the docks. He had recently learned that the docks was the main headquarters for the Skeleton Pack and he figured there had to be some pack members around, possibly even Dangle. Taking a few more steps down the wooden walkway, a sound suddenly reached his ears and he stopped, his head turning as his light blue eyes tried to pinpoint the creator of the sound.

A she-wolf appeared out of the shadows. Her eyes were like golden flames and her movements were effortless. Her black pelt helped the she-wolf blend in with the surroundings. Her ears were pricked twitching whenever a sound hit them. The she-wolf opened her maw and let her salmon pink tongue rest on her bottom canines. That she-wolf is me, Morgra.
My black shadow of a figure glided silently across the docks. I made no noise and my movements were effortless. I trained my body that way. Ever since I was born I had my body trained. Such a glorious thing to have effortless movements.
I don't know why I ended up at the docks. Perhaps fate maybe hopes of a new friend. Loneliness, has been eating me up ever since I became the way I am. I thought for sure the aches of loneliness would go away and cease to exist. I was wrong. Very wrong. It took watching Nova and Dangle together for me to realize the feeling would never go away.
I was happy that I was no longer a low piece of scum of an omega. Or Sikla, what I grew up hearing. I was now a guard. My life didn't matter to me only protecting the pack that gave me a home. Though I still doubted my choice for a pack. Not that I didn't like the canines I was with, its well complicated. I would never tell Dangle my feelings or issues. All this recoiled inside of me.
Most of the time I was bitter. Every situation I either brought myself into or was forced upon me I felt bitterness. Except last night. Nothing would have prepared myself for the utter loneliness I now feel.
A scent tickled my nose causing my nose to twitch. "Its that pup from the meeting, Koda I think," I said in a whisper. I was engrossed in what I was thinking I didn't see the bag on the docks. I stepped on it and immediately leaped back bumping into a barrel which fell over and landed into the water. Damn, I growled at myself.
I gave my pelt a shake to get the fear I held a release. I walked forward and avoided the bag that drew me from my thoughts. I walked out from the barrels and boxes and saw his ice blue eyes starring at me.
"If it isn't Koda, the wolf-dog." I said with an amused look on my features. Though my eyes were clouded, emotionless as always. My famous chuckle though stayed hidden inside of me. For I knew it would scare the pup dearly or maybe it wouldn't. I wasn't about to bring out my secret weapon either.
I tilted my head and waited a few seconds. "Do you know who I am?" I asked curiosity pricking my pelt. I wanted to see if he knew who I was or if me knowing him made him feel awkward.
Muse: alright Words: 505 Comments: Morgra is going to change. Somewhat though. She wants friends now. Shocking I know but who likes a lonely she-wolf?

Koda jumped at the loud banging and then a splash that followed the first noise he had heard, his eyes snapped to the location he heard the noise come from and his tall ears were pricked, trying to caught any other sound that could mean trouble for him. When no other noises followed, his muscles relaxed and he let the raised fur on his shoulders settle back down so it lay flat. Moments later, a black she wolf strolled out from behind the barrels that the sound had come from. He immediately recognized her from the Skeleton Pack meeting earlier that day. A friendly smiled crossed his face and he let his tail wag just a little. "If it isn't Koda, the wolf-dog." Her words caught him off guard, for no one else he had met had been able to tell that he was part wolf. But of course, she was a wolf and he hadn't met a pure wolf before so it was probably easier for her to tell than normal dogs. Though he was curious as to what had given it away since his appearance and markings looked enough like a Husky to keep others from questioning his breed. "How did you know I'm part wolf?" He asked curiously, tilting his head to one side. "Do you know who I am?" When she spoke once more, he thought for a moment but couldn't remember if she had spoken her name at the meeting so instead offered the information he did know. "You were at the pack meeting. You came in late cause you were dealing with an intruder." He replied, thinking back to the meeting as he recited everything he remembered. Though he didn't usually have a good attention span, he had made sure to pay attention to everything that was said during the meeting so he wouldn't be confused when starting his new pack.

I sat my rump on the ground. My front legs held me erect. How did you know I'm part wolf? He asked curiously, tilting his head to one side. A small laugh escaped my vocals as my head went into its natural position as the shock spread through his face. "Suppose it takes one to know one. I am half wolf also. Though, I am more like my wolf side than my dog side. And your looks are more huskyish but I can see the wolf in you." I told him softly. I kept my growl and such out of my vocals. I didn't want to scare him away. Especially when he could be a friend.
You were at the pack meeting. You came in late cause you were dealing with an intruder, came his reply. Good he was paying some attention, I thought with a smile. "Very good. Good memory skills is used everyday. Though I would work on your attention span," I said gently with a voice like a mother praising her child. Though Koda wasn't a child of mine but I couldn't help but to be gentle to him.
I thought for a moment before I went on, "Yes I came in late because of an intruder. I'm Morgra, Dangle appointed me as a guard. If I remember correctly you were appointed as a regular pack member." I finished with a smile on my face. For a pup he was awfully cute in my eyes. Though I would never tell anyone I liked him in any sort of way. Though I felt bitter loneliness creep up again as I thought of Dangle and his mate Nova. I wonder if I would ever get a mate. Or have pups. Then again I courted with Duke and I don't think I conceived at all. Surely I would have had them by now. Maybe I am barren. The thought crept into my thoughts and haunted me. There was a great chance I would never have pups of my own. Then again did I even want pups? I shook my head and growled to clear my haunting thoughts away.
"Where did you come from and why did you pick the Skeleton pack?" I asked tilting my head once more. I knew he wasn't a worthless pup but I knew he didn't have the grown up skills the pack had either. Which intrigued me greatly. I shrugged off the question that clung to my thoughts.
I wonder if he would ask my past since I asked his in a round about way. If he did he would be brave. Not many canines ask me about my past. I shuffled my paws before I untitled my wolf-like head.

Koda felt a smile begin to make it's way across his face as she told him that she was part wolf as well. He had never met another dog that had been part wolf and he was glad that he wasn't the only one in these parts. He chuckled a little nervously as she said that he should work on his attention span. He wasn't very good at sitting still but when he really tried he was able to pay attention for longer periods of time though even those didn't last long. He nodded, acknowledging the fact that she had gotten his rank right. Nothing to special about him. Just a normal ranked dog. "Where did you come from and why did you pick the Skeleton pack?" His ears pricked forward as he picked up her words, sitting down before replying. "Well I'm not really sure where I came from. I just know that my parents were killed and I was left on my own so I traveled around a little until I came to this place. I joined the Skeleton Pack because I wanted to learn how to fight so that way no dog could do anything to hurt me ever again." He replied, his expression proud and tough as he finished his short speech. His light blue eyes blazed with fury as he thought back to the dog that had killed his parents but he brushed the thought away and glanced back up at Morgra, curiousity now in his eyes. "What about you?" He asked simply, tilting his head to one side. He made sure not to ask for any specific information because he didn't want to anger her. Some dogs didn't like talking about their history so he thought it wise to leave it up to her to tell him what she wanted him to know.

long legs carried the muscular spotted dog toward the others, though the male didn't know it yet. big brown eyes shining as his muscles rippled when he broke into a run. a laugh escaping his chops. he ran around for awhile before coming to a stop by the docks, which seemed to be the place to go if you wanted to meet your fellow pack members. i should really start doing that too, since i'm new and all. i hope there's plenty of females. i need some fun.
taking in a deep breath as he approached the wooden walkway. he stopped, dogs. no. dog and wolf. he smirked, now was his chance for some fun. he went a little closer, making sure neither of them could see him. his black spotted coat wasn't the easiest to hide. but he had gotten very good at it. his eyes darted to the dog, a young male, couldn't be more than a year. he was a husky and wolf mix it seemed. the female was a gorgeous wolf, black as night. he smiled widely and listened in on their conversation. they were talking about a pack meeting that had just happened. well i missed that! he snorted quietly and listened again. the pups name was Koda and the wolf's was Morgra. he smiled and listened again as the pup told his story. this was getting boring. why did the female really wanna know about the pup?
he stood and stretched, smoothing his short coat before stepping into the open. he strutted forward, his muscles rippling under the white and black spots. he smiled as he neared them, fixing his posture so they knew he wasn't a threat. he didn't need to be, yet. he sat beside the female," well hello there. i'm Zane." he winked and nodded at the pup. "hey kid." he had an adorable english accent that could melt hearts. he smiled.

"Brave answer for a pup," I said as a smile crept upon my features. I already knew he was going to ask. Normally I would have ignored the question but I didn't want to hurt his little mind. Besides I didn't mind answering his question. "I come from up north. Past the city walls and beyond imagination. Most call me a phantom. My mother was wolf and my father was a dutch shepherd. I was kicked out of the pack because I was accused of a wrong doing I didn't comment. I came here after I killed my mother out of anger. My father was a dog. A slave to humans. I didn't envy him at all. He lived a low life as a human pet. He is still where he was when I killed my mother. Really I don't blame my father for nothing. Accept the fact he is a low living dog. I found a hole in the wall and crawled threw. Eager for a new start. Thats when I stumbled upon Dangle's pack. I've been here ever since," I growled softly.
A new scent tickled my nose. Instantly I rose to my paws taking a defensive stance over Koda as a deep threating growl rose in my throat. Its sound was a wolf snarl. Giving me the over all scare factor. Such ferocity in the snarl it scared loners away. I glared at the place the dog was hiding. Once he stepped out of the shadows I relaxed. With a snort I withdrew myself as Koda's guarder. I sat down once more, pushing down the urge to snap at the brute. When he sat down beside me I flicked my ears. The only warning sign he would get. I didn't put up with much. I shuffled my paws as he introduced himself. Zane, weird name I thought. Deciding I wanted a little distance I got up stiffly and moved a few feet away from Zane. Giving him a cold glare before I sat down.
"Why weren't you at the pack meeting last night?" I said coldly. My eyes burned his pelt as I glared at him. "Dangle said he would exile all who didn't show up last night who were previous members," I smiled evilly, "Unless you were scared. Seeing as your new, you need to find Dangle," I taunted with a smirk plastered on my scared face. I might not pick on Koda but I didn't fully know this brute. Pups were easy to get to know, as was this one. I've never had pups of my own though. I kind of do want pups but something told me I would never know what it felt to be a mother. That something sickened me.
Why was it so difficult. Such a thing as wanting something so bad it made you go mad was creeping up on me. Suppose you say I'm mad already but you haven't seen the worst yet. For the worst is yet to come. And it wasn't going to be pretty.

Koda listened intently to Morgra as she explained her past briefly. He nodded slowly, showing her that he understood how she had come to be in the Skeleton Pack. Suddenly, Morgra moved so she was guarding Koda, the scent of a new male reached Koda's nose and he peeked around one of Morgra's legs to look in the direction that she was snarling in. Soon enough, a male dog stepped out into the open, revealing himself to them. Morgra moved away from him and Koda gave a smile and a dip of his head to the newcomer, unsure if he should be friendly to him or not since Morgra's aggressive display towards the male. He decided not to chime in as Morgra challenged the dog, asking him why he wasn't at the meeting that was mandatory for all the pack members. Koda thought back and realized he hadn't seen this male at the meeting at all either. He must be new or maybe he wasn't even a Skeleton Pack dog and he was just snooping around their territory. Though that was unlikely seeing as the Skeleton Pack was one of the most feared packs in these regions. So any dog that came snooping around here had to be stupid. An amused chuckling escaped Koda's jaws as he watched the male dog sit down beside Morgra only to have her move away from him. Morgra wasn't going to be convinced easily and Koda just smiled as he watched the two dogs and listened to their conversation.

the dalmatian let his tongue roll out of his chops, the pink tongue had a couple black spots on it as well. that made him chuckle once, for he had never really noticed it. he just rolled his eyes as the female moved away. well, so much for winning her over, i'll just have to try a little harder. he listened intently as she taunted him. he narrowed his eyes slightly, having a short temper was never a good thing and this female was pushing it. he cleared his throat before speaking again. "actually darlin, i'm new here and i didn't get to make it to the pack meeting, seeing as i just joined today." he grumbled as his accent made everything smooth and a lot less stern then he had wanted. that was the downside of having this; everything in his voice was smooth and charming instead of strong and intimidating like he wanted. who would be intimidated of a spotted dog with an accent?! he growled under his breath and looked at her again, a smile growing.
"no need to be defensive pretty lady, i won't hurt the pup." he got up and moved a little closer to her again. he wasn't going to be denied by this female. he was stubborn, hard-headed and cocky. he knew he would win her over eventually. he watched her gaze as she watched the pup, longing entered her eyes. he smirked and leaned in to whisper in her ear. "you know, if you want pups so bad, all you gotta do is ask." he leaned away again, laughing. he watched the pup, his big brown eyes searching. so the pup was parentless, not by choice; and the female was parentless, by choice. interesting.
he shrugged, might as well share his story too eh? "i never met my father, the bloody bastard never stuck around long enough to even find out my mum was pregnant. my mum left when my sister and i were eight months and i took care of us. then we got separated and i haven't found her yet. but i'm hoping to." he looked at each of them, waiting to see their reactions.

I watched Koda nod. He seemed to have understood. Good, I thought before I turned my attention back to the male. Whom I didn't like. I bristled slightly.
My ears flicked as the male told me not to be so defensive. I snorted but stayed where I was. What nerve he had. I lifted my lip. "Oh really now maybe you should stop chasing after lost causes and do something better with your life," I retorted taking a few steps back. I was holding every inch of ground I could to not lunge an attack against him. If I lost then who would keep Koda from this new male.
When Zane got up and got closer to me again. I felt nothing but cold fury. He was determined I'll give him that. But in my psycho path of a mind determination wasn't going to be enough. He whispered in my ear, If I wanted pups all I had to do was ask, why on earth would I want pups by the likes of him. In all my years of kicked in causing my eyes to harden. My old days as a young pup I was a whore. Trying everything I could to become pregnant. Now he plainly pushed it in my face again. All anger ran out of my veins as I looked away. I couldn't bare the thought of not trying for one last season. I would perhaps give him a chance but not in front of Koda.
For crying out loud he was only a pup. With a sigh I leaned forward and whispered into Zane's ear "Meet me tonight by the docks," only loud enough for Zane to hear. I took my face away from his ear and shuffled backward.

Koda sat still, completely entranced by their conversation. When the male spoke to Morgra in that manner, he was a little surprised that Morgra didn't tear his face off right then and then. But instead she sighed and uttered something in his ear that he couldn't understand. He took a step forward, coming up to stand beside Morgra. "What's going on?" He asked, his light blue eyes curious as he shifted his gaze from Morgra and then to Zane before returning them to Morgra. Adults could be so hard to understand sometimes. Plopping himself down on his hind end, Koda glared at Zane, beginning to become unsure of this new male who waltzed around like he was all that and could come up to any girl and get her to drool at his paws. Disgusting. Besides, Koda liked Morgra better than Zane and he had a feeling that something was going on between the two of them that he wouldn't like. Rising to his paws once more, he waited for someone to answer his question, though he hoped Morgra would and not this weird foreign dog. Koda shot another angry glare at the newcomer, looking him up and down as he was going to attack him or something.

Zane laughed at her words. he wasn't going after lost causes, and he did something with his life. he makes others smile, laugh and gives them something to live for. he knew underneath she really didn't mean it. he was a lovable guy, you just had to give him the chance. and she definitely was not going to, or so he thought. he lowered his gaze when she looked away, it seemed as if he had thoroughly offended her. he sighed and opened his chops to speak when she whispered in his ear. meet me tonight by the docks. the words were so simple, yet they held so much meaning.
she was going to give him a shot! he smiled triumphantly and nodded slightly so she would see he agreed and would meet her. he laughed as the pup glared at him, looking him up and down, his muscles bunched. he rolled his eyes. i won't hurt a pup, but if the little thing thinks he can take me, i'd like to see him try. i will easily put him in his place. he narrowed his eyes slightly at the pup, this little guy was determined to hate Zane. he smiled at Koda, he would be friendly. this pup really had no reason to hate him, yet.
he shrugged when Koda asked the question. Zane knew that Koda really wasn't asking him. he was asking Morgra, so he decided not to answer. he'd let the female come up with something so that he had no idea what was going on, or what would go on later. Zane wasn't sure what Morgra had in mind but he did know that it would be easier to talk to the female without the little pup here.
