A black and brown form was moving proudly down the pier. It was Kobe, and he was there for a reason. He was, as usual, on the look out for females. Not that he was searching for them, but he still was keeping watch. His shining dark fur flashed in the sun, and his whole posture was very... well, dominant. He was in the open lands, and he was the king out here. He gave off an aura of pride and charm, and his eyes twinkled in the sun. He looked up at the sky. It was a nice day, perfect for finding a lucky female out in this place. One could always find at least one sitting out here on a good day. He padded along the pier, his paw pads feeling the damp wood beneath them. He tasted the salty sea air, searching for a scent. Suddenly, he found one. He followed the sweet smell at his own pace, quick, but not to hurried or excited. The handsome young beauceron soon saw the dog who he had scented. It was a pretty female, thin and lightly colored, sitting on the edge of the pier, apparently watching the seagulls. He sent a low and non-threatening woof her direction, changing his expression to a charming smile with glistening white teeth. He stepped a bit closer, double dew-clawed paws spaced apart in a relaxed yet "manly" gesture. "Hey there, beautiful," he said as she turned around.

Zodiac had not been expecting any company. She was lost in her own world as she watched the seagulls flying above the water before lunging down to the waters surface. Snapping at tiny fish. It was a nice day, the sun was shining and the pier was warm against her boney bum. Even so Zodiac found herself at a loss for smiles, to be perfectly honest she was lonely. The last canine she had ran into had more the less sent her a threatening snarl before stealing her hard won rabbit. Being the shy creature she was Zodiac has simply given up her prey without a fight…better to have an empty belly than a broken leg or missing eye. And if her past confrontations were any indication she was no fighter.
Her long muzzle broke into a yawn, slightly yellowing teeth flashing in the light of the sun before clicking shut. And that was when a deep voice tickled her ears. The muscles in her body jerked but she was able to keep herself in a sitting position, managing to casually look over her shoulder at the handsome brute….and what a brute he was. Even from a distance away she could see his thick muscles rippling beneath his pelt and it took an effort to keep her mouth from dropping open as she gazed. Wait….did he just call her beautiful? Hah….what a crock.
“Ah…..now you don’t think that I am that easy do you?”
She chimed, letting her amber eyes roll over his frame teasingly.
“Names Zodiac.”

Well looky here looky here Ah what do we have? Another pretty thang ready for me to grab “Ah…..now you don’t think that I am that easy do you? Names Zodiac.” Kobe luaghed lowly as the females teasing voice tickled his ears. He walked closer, and straight into her liquid amber eyes, and smiled again. She was totally impressed. He could tell when females were attracted to him.. You could call it a sixth sense, of sorts. His short cropped ears swiveled toward the sea, and he listened for a moment to the gulls. "Who thought you were easy? I just like to speak my mind." His charming voice floated past Zodiac. "A pretty name, though. Zodiac... I like the sound of it. They call me Kobe, but you can call me Kobe. You can't really shorten it," He spoke with a laugh. "What is a nice dog like yourself doing out on the pier all alone, especially on this nice day? It seems you would have company." He said, again with charm in his deep voice. He looked at the attractive female, one eyebrow raised higher than the other. He breathed in, scenting her. She smelled like Embalm, but also of a loner. "Are you of an alliance? I only ask because you smell of Embalm. Yuo don't need to answer, I wouldn't want to seem nosy."
But little does she know That I'm a wolf in sheeps clothing 'Cause at the end of the night It is her I'll be holding
