I had heard that a pack meeting had been gathered. I had only just been recently approved into the pack so I was taking most of my time learning the edges of the borders and the scents of the others dogs and canines around here. The area all seemed so quiet compared to what I had been used to, but again, that could have been because they were all at the meeting. No matter. Moving swiftly as my legs could carry me to the location of the meeting, I arrived just in time to hear the leader speak of bringing slaves into the pack and those that had not shown up were exiled.
"Glad I got here on time then, I suppose."
I spoke this to myself as I eyed each dog and the German Shepherd that sat at the top amongst them all. This man I would have to meet later. For now, I was here attending the meeting to show that I have not failed him as of yet. Seeing only maybe a minimum of ten dogs I was surprised at the little numbers, but then was glad there had been a pack at all. It was a different mix of things than I was used to normally but no matter. The only thing that would make me stand out compared to these dogs were my freakishly black eyes and sapphire flecks within them. It was an odd sight to see such things in a wolf like me, of Mexican breed. As others began to ask what their duties were, I would wait for the man to reply to them and possibly would address him myself later on when things had settled down. For now, I was here to attend and those that would notice I was new could speak to me if they wished of it. Though I really didn't care any less anyway.

her claws dug into the ground as deep brown eyes watched the large rabbit digging for food. a smirk was plastered to her face, her brown eyes lit up as she lunged forward, ontop of the rabbit without it even noticing. she bite into its neck, killing it easily. she stood and picked the rabbit in her jaws when she heard a howl. meeting. turning her head toward the sound of the howl she sniffed, nothing. all she smelled was the rabbit she held. her ear twitched, she could hear the dogs running towards the parking lot now. she headed towards the parking lot. i can't be late, since i'm new and all.
arriving at the parking lot with most of the other dogs she smiled, proud she had made it on time. she nodded to dangle, setting the rabbit down beside the car he was one. she figured it was a good sign of respect, plus she wasn't gonna eat it. she made her way to a corner and sat down away from the other dogs. she usually didn't mind being alone but she would like to find someone to talk to by the end of this. at least have one friend. that's all she asked for.
the german shepherd watched as other dogs came in, a pup ran in late. she smiled slightly and turned her attention to dangle as he spoke of slaves and paid attention, she really needed to make to work here or she would end up a loner.
ooc: sorry i was late on the post, i've been sick and super busy

stepped lightly, yet quickly, he claws tapping acrossed the ground lightly as she padded into the room. She realized she was late and shook her head. /Must be important, if they're so impatient../ she mentally sighed and barely refrained from rolling her eyes. She did respect her leader, but she couldn't help herself. She seated herself near the back. Listning and waiting. Since all the other females were appologizing or saying what not she rolled her eyes. And sat silently. She had been poking around the border. She was assigned to be a guard, and she had supposed she should do something as a guard. After all she really didn't like the Lead Guard. She knew she herself could have done it better. She should be the lead guard, but that brute had been given the position. Boy it would be fun for her to boss all the guards around. As it was though she hardly payed any attention to him, unless it was an order from Dangle to the guards. She let herself relax and began grooming herself, waiting for Dangle or Lona to speak. Make some sort of announcment, anything but let these females keep droning on. It was killing her listning to excuses and everything else, she really had no care in the world what anyone said besides the alphas. Listning to anyone else ramble really got on her nerves. Made her b:tchy. So she groomed herself to take her ears away from their horrid voices. Keeping her coat in perfection was one of her many talents and hobbies, she knew she was beautiful. And she loved it. Being beautiful and a b:tch. It was her, her life her thing, her hobby. All to soon her coat was back in order. She straightened herself back up and let her eyes roam over her pack mates. She sat waiting for one of the alphas to speak.

Dangle nodded to the pack. He spied Riley and nodded to him in recognition. His eyes landed on Nova for a moment before they softened a bit and he continued to speak.
"Good. That is fine you're late, but please try not to do that again" he said.
"Now, there's the matter of ranks here. I will re-issue ranks." he said calmly and addressed each dog or wolf that had joined his pack. "Morgra you will be assigned the rank of guard. Your job will be to guard the pack and make sure that the safety is in order. Kobe, you will be regular pack member. Koda the same for you. Nova, you will become alphess. Aprodite, you will be a nurse. Aura the same for you. Now, Nurses are just a step below beta. Havok, you are military. I think you'd be suited to that. Dutchess, you are a consultant. That means you will consult with the alpha's over decisons made for the pack. Jasper, you will be military. I would like you to remain so we may discuss things. I think you know what that is" Dangle said to her meaningfully.
He looked at everyone in the eye and spoke.
"Being our pack is so damn small, high ranks will be earned until our pack grows." he said to them.
He was highly annoyed that his pack had shrunk. He wasn't the type to give up that easily though. It would take a lot for him but even then he was a fighter and wasn't going to let things go that easily.

zaira nodded when dangle started speaking, her eyes intent on the large alpha male. he was a german shepherd like herself, but much bigger. her ears twitched when he appointed all the ranks again. she sighed when he didn't say her name or rank, ah the perks of being a newbie. thick sarcasm flowed through her thoughts. she stood up, making her posture respectful, and cleared her throat," excuse me dangle.. i am zaira.. i'm new. um.. what rank am i?" she twitched her tail, looking the male in the eye. she wasn't usually the one to speak up but she didn't want to continue being just another rankless dog. she wanted to help the pack. her ears were perked as she waited for his answer, kinda nervous about speaking up.

sitting near the back of the pack, the voices of my peers drifted to my ears. i rose to my paws, and licked my chest to remove the dirt from the snow-colored fur. my salmon tongue lolled out of my mouth, and the sun beat down, piercing my fur to get to my skin. i stood shook my fur, and sat on my hindquarters. my left ear began to twitch ever so slightly, and i raised my hind leg to subside the itch that was bothering me. our pack had shrunk since the last meeting, and since my illness. i sighed, and stood, looking at all the late members. this disappointed me. the roughest and cruelest pack around was skeleton, and our members were lacking. i shook my head, and listened intently to what the members had asked dangle. some i had not seen before joined in on the questions about their jobs that come along with their rank. one asked what a mid-ranking member does. they're supposed to protect the pack with their life, and make sure the camp is in order. one female that seemed to have an aura around her i did not find... pleasant. she walked with her head held high with pride, though every member of the pack did this, but unusually high. i knew she was a hunter, and she had asked dangle if he wanted her to organize a hunting group. i spotted aura, the border collie whom is one of my new-found friends. i smiled in her direction, and stood, listening to the ranks dangle was assigning. morgra you will be assigned the rank of guard. Your job will be to guard the pack and make sure that the safety is in order. kobe, you will be regular pack member. koda the same for you. nova, you will become alphess. aphrodite, you will be a nurse. aura the same for you. now, nurses are just a step below beta. havok, you are military. i think you'd be suited to that. dutchess, you are a consultant. that means you will consult with the alpha's over decisions made for the pack. jasper, you will be military. i would like you to remain so we may discuss things. i think you know what that is. i smiled, and nodded towards dangle. i stood, shook my pelt, and padded forward to join him at his side. my pink tongue lolled out of my mouth, as i gracefully placed myself next to dangle.

Koda's dark ears pricked forward as Dangle raised his voice again to explain who had what rank and which rank did what jobs. When his name was called, the wolf/husky pup sat up straighter and put a serious look on his face, which was different for him since he was hardly ever serious. His light blue eyes met watched his new leader go through all of the pack members and tell him that he was a mid ranking pack member which wasn't anything special. He shrugged it off though. You had to start somewhere and since he was new to the pack he wasn't surprised he hadn't gotten a higher ranking position. He was still just a pup after all. But he was determined to show Dangle that he had what it took to be the greatest Skeleton Pack member ever! A grin crossed the young pup's face at the thought but he quickly pulled his attention out of his thoughts and back to the present, not wanting to miss anything important that might happen in the meeting.

Amaris' ears swivled back and forth picking up the sounds of many canines all in one spot. Could this be what he was looking for? He had heard a call but he had no clue what it had meant to him. It was finally time to join a pack, this was the perfect oppertunity. He kept his profile low as he made his way to the sounds. Finally he found himself at an old parking lot, the alpha here could be easily spotted and as he spoke of taking slaves Amaris felt chills go up his spine. "What the hell are you afraid of! You could easily be him, stronger with my help." Well aren't I so strong, hiding under a car because of the fact as soon as the wind changes I'm dead! He looked at the alpha, his eyes were blue like his, muscles toned his body and he looked much scarier than Amaris ever could. For Amaris was built more for speed and agility, not strength. It's not because of his breed at all, his breed had the ability to vary in this way but Amaris was a runner. Cunning and quick on his paws. He would never be able to run nose-first into a fight and come out victorious. They continued to talk, tension building as more dogs arrived. Many of the females seemd to be focused on their alpha in a very upset way, it was just the way they worked though. They flipped out about everything. But not his love. He had not seen her in a long time, she may have forgotten he existed again, but it would be worth it to see her again. "Being our pack is so damn small, high ranks will be earned until our pack grows." The alpha had said with much annoyance after giving the ones already there, yet he had forgotten one girl, a newer member. Why don't we go introduce ourselves eh? Amaris tensed his muscles, not wanting to go out of fear of rejection yet he uncontrollably bit himself and he found himself dragging himself out from under the car, walking forward, and being placed next to the female German Shephard named Zaira. "Good evening. My name is Amaris, Dangle. I wish to join your pack, seeing your numbers have fallen. Please do tell me where you might find me useful. If not you could always just kill me now." He said, shrugging at the last sentence then smiling to Zaira. She wasn't the only new one anymore.

"And what of me Dangle?"
The voice carried from the back knowing her name had not been mentioned. It was interesting of course but she drug her wolf body to the front as she could see, from what she could see, she was of the only wolves here. A good fighter of raw instincts and power could have one of the more decent ranks, or that she hoped though she was of a new member. If the woman had to prove herself then so be it.
As for the pack yes it was small and yet she did not care. It mattered not to her so long as the members were good and the intentions of the pack were clear and simple. Looking at all the dogs and canines that were here she eyed each one as she heard the names and what their ranks were. She sighed. She wanted a duty of some sort so she would not be so bored about here but again she was a new member and she supposed it would take time for her to really make a place for herself here.

I dipped my head as Dangle spoke not to be late again. Don't worry I won't let it happen again, I thought. I wasn't one to talk back nor strick up a conversation. I was more... quite. But I liked it that way. To much talking gave away to weakness in my mind. Not that I thought the pack leader was weak. Why would a pack leader be weak. Especially Dangle, the leader of the Skeleton pack.
I ripped my attention back to Dangle as he began to speak again. Morgra you will be assigned the rank of guard. Your job will be to guard the pack and make sure that the safety is in order. Kobe, you will be regular pack member. Koda the same for you. Nova, you will become alphess. I think you know what that is, he finished. My ears pricked happily. I watched Nova get up and walk over and sit down next to Dangle. Personally I think Nova got the right position. A lonely awareness swept over my body. That was one thing I didn't have often. If I am apart of this pack I need to make some friends. Though I wonder if they would be my friend. Especially that nurse that treated Tango, I snorted the thought away. I did need friends though.
I am no longer the omega. My tail wagged silently on the concreat. I was the only guard, which made me feel special and more than that happy that I was no longer omega. I lifted my head a bit, "I will do my best to guard the pack," I spoke only after Dangle did. I wanted to make sure I didn't interupt him at all.
Muse: alright Words: 359 Comments: Morgra is going to change. Somewhat though. She wants friends now. Shocking I know but sho likes a lonely shewolf?

"it seems i am intruding on something special - sue me." was the females introduction to herself. laid-back and impolite, yes, it was hail all over. as she drew closer to the gang of canines she sat herself down, resisting the urge to yawn. "i wish to join the skeleton pack. i believe this is the right place?" she said, her tone bored as her eyes flickered over the other dogs, taking in their appearances one by one. she guessed that the alpha was the german shepherd who perched himself atop one of the disintegrating car, but she would wait and see who spoke first. ___________________________________________ tagged, the skeleton pack!<3 words, seven hundred and forty one notes, and this is my introduction to hail, my b!tch c: credits, table © to me

Kobe nodded as his leader gave him the same position as before. He didn't really want an important job, anyways. He had other things to do. Like charm the ladies. Sadly, they still seemed pretty fascinated with Dangle. Well, I guess that makes sense. He is the leader after all. I am actually glad I don't have to rule a pack. He thought. Way too much responsibility for me. I like to have fun. He yawned, and looked at the new members who had arrived. There were some females, but he decided picking up girls at pack meetings was a futile attempt, since Dangle was there. He just seemed to be overflowing with allure, partly from power, and also he was a very handsome dog. Not that Kobe was attracted to him or anything, but he could appreciate another good looking dog. Kobe smiled at each newcomer in turn, stepping out of his bad mood and becoming his usual self. His pointed ears pricked up and he observed the others, and he licked his ruffled shoulder fur down. Blue
How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core, Where I've become so numb. Without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold, Until you find it there and lead it back home...
.xXx. At first, Blue hadn’t been bothered, by the fact she was here against her will. She figured a few kind words and respectful actions would allow her release. And yet, she was still here; enclosed in the Skeleton’s Pack Lands. She hadn’t bothered speak of escape, due to the fact she could truly trust no one, here. The small ebony she-wolf made her way towards where she knew the meeting was currently being held, letting her head sink to align itself with her shoulders. Blue kept low to the ground, though not in a noticeable crouch, her excruciatingly blue eyes falling upon the large group ahead of her. She crept forwards silently, and made her way from the taller grasses, to walk forwards, making her appearance known. The female’s eyes flickered from the ground to the alpha, her head lowering out of instinct. The muscles lining her legs and neck were pulled taught; due to the overwhelming instinct she had to run. And although Blue was only 2.3 feet, she did have a feeling she could outrun most of the dogs here, with ease.
But then again, there were so many.
The femme was not one to feel threatened, but there was a time that came when one needed to admit to themselves they were overpowered. And currently, there was nothing Blue could do about it. The female came to a stop a far distance from the group, immediately lowering her head to barely graze the ground, before letting her back legs fold underneath her. Blue’s eyes trained on Dangle, her expression showing not a hint of emotion in which pulsed through the female. Blue was completely and utterly unreadable. She was submissive, this was a fact. And yet, from one looking at her, her current position didn’t match her expression. She held that an expression of calm knowing; as if she held information none of the dogs before her did. Blue was perfectly happy with them wishing to know how she felt; what she wanted. But, in her time here, she had decided there was one thing the female wouldn’t do.
Be afraid.
Blue’s maw parted momentarily, before closing again noiselessly. She thought better of speaking, even though she was only going to truly apologise. The wolf stayed at the very back of the pack, her shadowy figure doing its best to blend in. However, when one is far away from the group, and ...a wolf, others would surely pick up on that. Blue scolded herself mentally, for letting herself be captured. It was an act of pure stupidity. And, not one that would be soon forgotten anytime soon. It was then that the female paused, her ears flattening against her skull in another act of submission. She decided no matter how much her mind forbid her to speak, she would do so anyways. It would show less fear, after all.
“I apologise for my lateness. It will not happen again.”
Blue spoke quietly, her feminine voice soft; her lyrics spoken as if she was talking to a child. It was how the female had always spoken. Her voice was inventing and very delicate, although not tender to the slightest. Nor was it very... kind. Blue was a female of details, and it took the smartest of minds to understand her. Usually Blue, herself, did the understanding. She read dogs and wolves alike, as if she’d known them for years. It was more challenging for some, absolutely. And yet, Blue had been trained. She’d forced such things upon herself, for situations just like this. Slowly, she looked back up to Dangle, her expression staying unmoving. She was here, in front of the entire pack. A prisoner; an outcast.
It was like her past, all over again.
Without thought, without voice, without a soul, Don't let me die here. There must be something more, Bring me to life...
|
Words: 703 Muse: Alright Notes: Sorry to go ahead Zeph, but Blue doesn't exactly notice anyone, anyways. But please, other peoples, wait for Zeph to finish. :3 EDIT: I don't know if it's just me... But I'm on mom's computer, which has firefox... And the image on her table looks grossly dark.
