Pack meeting

There trotting slowly through the crowd was a familiar female. A heavily pregnant female. Her belly swollen and swaying as she walked, an inner glow surrounding her beauty. A grin slowly began to spread acrossed his maw as she stopped and spoke to her alpha. She looked beautiful even pregnant. Tilting his head as she turned and came him way he touched his nose to hers in an affectionate greeting murmering softly "Hello beautiful" his deep rich tones low, so as not to truelly interupt but greet the mother of his undorn puppies.With a smile at her he turned his attention back to the Alphess waiting on her to continue speaking.

[Bigby]

Bigby greeted the new comers with a friendly nod before she looked at all the wolves around her. Smiling she saw that there were more females then males present. Not that she cared really, a mate was the last thing that she need right now. It would be to much of a hassle to have pups and take care of a pack.

looking at her pack she let her ever present smile drop. This meeting was going to be about a few serious issues that needed to be discussed. A lovely summer wind passed by her as she sat and looked down at her fellow wolves.

"So, as you might have noticed, our pack numbers are few. This can not be helped...." She paused after this statement, not really knowing what to say. Thinking about how her pack depended on her though, she looked back at them. " Well....I know that sounds bad....But it doesn't have to be."
She smiled again and looked each of them in the eye. " I know that having a huge pack is good, and trust me I would like this pack to be larger....But I'm willing to use what I have, And thats you."

Pausing for a moment he let her words sink in. " I need to know though, how you can help the pack. If you have any talents that are worth mentioning, please say so now."

Diamond stood attentively, listening to Bigby's every word though, nobody would listen to her, as long as Bigby heard what she said it was all good. " I need to know though, how you can help the pack. If you have any talents that are worth mentioning, please say so now." She smiled to her pack leader, knowing exactly what to say, knowing what she was thinking was perfect. Diamond wanted nothing but to please her pack, it was what she was supposed to do as a fellow pack-mate and wolf.

"To start, my name is Diamond," She announced, very proud of herself for speaking first. "I feel that you ask a hard question Bigby, and this is how I will answer. I will do anything for my pack, as long as I can help them and provide them with their needs and wants. I, myself, specialize more in protection. I also posess qualities of leadership and can help those who are younger or less experienced to learn skills."

In her mind all wolves had heroes and leaders within themselves, some were just better than others. Another think Diamond believed, she was one of those better wolves. She didn't think it was because she was cocky, she just was, and hopefully Bigby saw that too. One day, she hoped to be as great as she was.

Estrela listened to the female named Diamond. She was much braver than Estrela could ever be. She couldn't even think of what to say, let alone answer Bigby right away. Thoughts raced through her mind of what to say, what could she say? There was no possible way that she could have a good purpose for this pack, though she had always been a nurse. Yet three breeding seasons had gone by and now she was seeing her first pregnant female. She didn't know her name, but as long as Estrela's help was needed she would be there. If she was wanted.

I'll have to speak eventually, huh? She stood up with her eyes closed in emotional and physical pain. She was quite thin for it being summer, but that was because Estrella refused to eat. In her eyes, she was fat when she ate but if she didn't eat, she was the perfect size. Taking a few steps forward so she was sure others could hear her, she prepared to speak.

"Well, I'm not very useful, but I'm here to be used. For the past two years I have taken care of youth and sick... yet we've never had them in this pack. I realize it makes me sound like I do not try for this pack, but I do. I also hunt, not often, but it helps the pack in winter, when there is little food. Otherwise, I have no talents or abilities you would care for." She gave an awkward smile, hoping that it was what Bigby was lookinf for. Estrela didn't do well with talking and she was ready to go hide in a cave since she let her soft voice be heard.

Bigby smirked slightly at what Diamond said. A regular Marry Jane. She thought to herself.Bigby liked the girls enthusasim, but she was just acted so....Whats a good word...*but kisser. No Bad bigby stop thinking that way! Shes just being....helpful!* She knew that thoes qualities were good ones though, so taking the small smirk off her face she smiled fondly at the wolf. "Thank you Diamond, Thoes are very good qualities and We'll have need of them in the future."

Looking at the other wolf now she noticed how skinny the wolf was. After hearing what her qualities where she smiled. "Well If Blackhawk continues to do Arial stunts we'll certainly need you to fix him up from time to time." Taking a moment to let herself think on a matter she looked back at the white wolf. "I'm worried about that part about you saying you rarely hunt. It's not good for wolves to starve themselves. Now If you have trouble hunting I'm sure I can help you with that. "

[Blackhawk]

"Well If Blackhawk continues to do Arial stunts we'll certainly need you to fix him up from time to time."
at hearing his name, blackhawk imediatly snapped out of his thoughts of what he could do for the pack, which he was having a hard time figuring out, and was attentitive to bigby, up until the point where he actually figured out what was being said about him. at which piont he laid back down behind scarlet and tried to hide himself. he knew he had messed up, he just wished people would leave him alone about it. he could feel everyone staring at him and wished they would just leave him alone, the scent of all the wolves burned in his nose and to know that they were looking at him seemed to drive him insane.
as blackhawk lay there, being driven insane by his own thoughts and paranoia, he decided to do the only thing he could to stop the pressure of his thoughts and so he quickly fell asleep. figuring that as long as he was in his normal dreamless void, he never had any dreams, he wouldn't have to worry about them.

But, when Bigby started talk, this time, her words being more pack orientated, Liri sat up, listening, as she spoke about how she would like the pack to be bigger…. Hmmm, so Liri would have to hunt wolves out side the pack, and bring them in? It’d be a new idea. Using her killing techniques to bag and tag more pack members. She wondered momentarily if that would work, before tilting her head, as Bigby added, I need to know though, how you can help the pack. IF you have any talents that are worth mentioning, please say so now. Delirium coughed awkwardly, in surprise at the word ‘talent’ and wondered if her ‘talents’ would be appropriate to mention. Liri kept quite, letting a few others talk first, Diamond went first, her words sounding a tad rehearsed to Liri. Any wolf could string those words together. The other wolf, though; that spoke up after she did. She seemed more real. Shy, and awkward but real. When no other wolf spoke up, Delirium sighed, and stood, nodding to Bigby, as she spoke, “Most of my talents I can not say aloud, in fear of being reproached by those of the pack, but what I can do, is I have an intense knowledge of battle tactics, and I know how to fight. My entire life has consisted of fighting. I can hold my own against almost anything. I can hunt with the best of them, and then some, and I’m not afraid to cause pain, nor am I awkward around blood. I’m not the best at being social, but when it comes to fighting, or hunting, I know how to protect those I work along side with, just as much as I knew how to do my job to the best of my advantage – even if I play a tad dirty.” the other talents? What she hadn’t said, well, she wasn’t just a fighter, she was a killer, She could take down wolves, dogs, horses, elk. Why was she so good at fighting and hunting, because… those are the two things she’d been taught sense birth. When you have a serial killing family, you tend to learn the trade. Bigby looked at liri with a small smile. She knew that the wolf could have more to say about what she could do by the proud way she said her talents. Knowing that it would be a bad idea to go further with this conversation though, beacuse she would like to avoid the subject of battling with other packs this meeting. "That will be of use to us if we are attacked or need to attack another pack." Bigby told her with a pleased tone in her voice.

Wanting to move on with the meeting she was about to speak when she relised somthing. It was boring being up on that rock over looking all those wolves..so she hopped off the rock with a great leap and landed in the middle of all the wolves. With a smile she looked at all the wolves and gave them a sort of shrug. "I was bored up there without you guys, so I came down here."
