There was a time, long ago, when the children of the lands remembered their ancient and powerful gods. They worshiped them, spoke with them, and adored them. They gave sacrifices, but more importantly, they shared with their powerful and protective gods the most sacred gift of all: their love. But no longer. No, now lives have been consumed in the constant search for wealth, for technology. The Gods grow sullen and silent, and some, no, most, have faded from existence rather than face this cold world alone.
On a floating isle, hidden from the minds and maps of mankind, there still exists four such ancient beings. They watch over their isle with compassion and love for both the land and it’s inhabitants. They had been content, for a long while, to support without benefit, to care and love without reciprocation. This time has come to an end, and the Reformation is coming. Will it be peaceful, this transition to remembering the Gods for what and who they are? Or will it be bathed in the blood of the foolish, the close- minded? Time will tell, but what it cannot say is this: Will you be here to witness it?
